Fixed layout files can be very difficult to create, so the prices are more expensive than our dynamic (flowable) eBook conversions. There is a $199 up-charge for the Fixed Layout conversion for Apple Books for plus $3 per page.
For example, a 28 page Children's book that was formatted as a fixed layout would cost:
- $249 standard eBook package
- $199 fixed layout charge
- $84 for the page count (28 pages at $3 a page)
- $532 total cost.
* If you are supplying a properly formatted, fixed layout, ePub file, there would not be any additional costs. You would pay the normal eBook price.
