Using our online order interface, it’s easy to create a project quote for your book. Simply select your book’s trim size, cover style, book binding style, cover finish, print type, paper stock, as well as your design preferences in the add-ons section.
After you select the design options that are right for you and save your quote, you will be asked to complete a short design questionnaire within your BookBaby account. This text-based questionnaire will give you the opportunity to share your vision for your book cover. You can request that our designers find images for you, or you can upload images of your own for us to work with.
After you place your order, our design preflight team will review your submission to make sure they have a clear idea of your vision, and that we are able to achieve it with what you've provided. If there are any questions then you will be notified before we move forward.
After this, BookBaby's designers will combine your input with their own design expertise to create a custom designed book cover that you’ll be proud to show off. You will receive a digital proof of your design in approximately 2 to 3 weeks. This will be your opportunity to suggest changes and corrections that you would like made, and once we receive your suggestions, we'll issue you a new proof. There's no limit to the number of times we're willing to send you a proof. We just ask that all suggestions and corrections be submitted in writing, either via your BookBaby account or email.
