The ability to enter payout information for a bank account in a given country is tied to the address you provided during the payout account setup. This can cause problems in account setup for non-US based payees using a USD bank account.
Step 1: Enter valid payout account details with a temporary US address. You must enter temporary address information followed by your valid banking information. Once this is accepted, you will adjust your address to your proper mailing address.
Regardless of where you physically live or where you are currently located, change the country to the “United States of America.” Following this, you can enter the following sample address as a temporary placeholder:
742 Evergreen Terrace
Springfield, OR 12345
Then click "NEXT"
Step 2: On the following screen, you will need to provide the Routing Number, Account Number, and
the Account Holder's Name associated with your USD Bank Account.
Then click “ADD”. At this point, your USD Bank account has been set up. You will now need to correct your profile address details to reflect your real address and country.
Step 3: Update payout account details with your actual address.
Click "DONE" on the “Payout Method Submitted Successfully!” screen. You’ll now see recent payments and your current payout methods on the next screen.
To edit the address on your payout method, click the little pencil icon.
On the next screen, you’ll need to edit the “General Information” for that method by clicking the
edit button at the top right.
Now you’ll see the edit address screen. At this point, you should change the address back to your
valid address with all details matching your proper location, including your country.
Note: After you change countries, you may need to provide additional information, such as your date of birth, as regulations in different countries may require additional information.
Click “SAVE” on this and the following screen to update your address.
Step 4: Complete a Tax Form ( If applicable). As a final step, you must add your tax form if not already submitted since your completed tax form is needed to allow payments. To complete your tax form, click on the “Complete a Tax Form” button on the main page of your payment profile, and then follow the prompts from there.
